Maasthi Gudi Kannada Movie Review

Maasthi is a mahout living in the town by the woods. The timberland is his life and he doesn't care for it if a solitary living animal there is harmed. Yet, what happens when poachers enter the backwoods and need to execute the tigers?

Nagashekar's Maasthi Gudi, which depends on a story composed by Duniya Vijay, has been in the news for changed reasons. Each one of those aside, does it make for an engaging watch? It does, however not by any stretch of the imagination. The film has a decent message that it looks to send, however the execution vacillates with a dreary screenplay. While Duniya Vijay and courageous women Amulya and Kriti Kharbanda lead the way with regards to exhibitions, alongside rest of the group cast, there are a ton of times one is left puzzled in the matter of what is happening, particularly in the second half.

Known for his sentimental escapades, Nagashekar has guaranteed that the two romantic tales, including both the main women, are sweet, peppered with great melodies. Be that as it may, the primary plot, which includes the legend battling the poachers and his endeavors to spare the woods does not have the punch. The two negative leads, Raghava Uday and Anil Kumar, who lost their lives on the film's set, don't appear to have legitimized parts and appear to be preferably humorous than threatening. The utilization of extraordinary too is fairly unexpected and nothing appears to be advocated, particularly towards the peak.

While the battle successions appear to be all around choreographed, particularly the one including Ravishankar and Vijay, and the melodies are hummable with short yet charming sentimental stories backing them, the film in totality appears to be fairly overwhelming towards the end.

While this film seems a bit disappointing in the long run, one can go and watch the film for Vijay's acting and the hidden message about woods protection.
